17 MONTHS OLD

Peek-a-boo, I'm Eli and am writing this blog post today.

I know it's absolutely hard to believe, but Will and I are 17 months old today! Mommy said we're are getting old enough to start helping her out with the blog, so here's my first attempt!

We are getting bigger and learning new things every day. I weigh 23 pounds 10 ounces and Will now weighs 23 pounds 3 ounces. I think I'm bigger because I usually eat a lot more then Will. He eats nice and slow and I like to chow down fast! And I am a whole minute older than him, so I should be bigger, right? Otherwise I wouldn't be the BIG brother!

Why use two chairs when we can both cuddle together in one?

My baby brother, Will, is a big climber and is now climbing up onto everything and even moving chairs around to use to climb onto higher things. You're probably wondering why I haven't started copying him yet. Well, the jokes on you. Because even though I'm not the one climbing, I'm the one who figured it out and told Will how to do it. You can say that I'm the "thinker" and Will's the "do-er". :)

Here's a photo of Will wearing our cousin Cora's sunglasses. He loves those things!

Mommy wanted me to tell you that both Will and I are starting to say more words. We also like to make animal noises and can bark like a dog, roar like a bear, hoot like an owl, and say "oooh oooh ah ah" like a monkey! We also do sign language for "more" very often. We like to use it for any situation where we want something, so basically when we sign "more" it can mean: please, more, help, I want that, etc.

Being 17 Months old wears us out!

Well, I have to get back to playing. It's what I do best. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Love,
Elijah
